Lakeland is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Lakeland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We were looking forward to taking the family here for what appeared to be extremely fancy donuts. We also chose this option due to their availability of gluten free options. The service here was amazing. Everyone working there was pleasant and happy and appeared to love their jobs. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. The downside in my opinion was with the food itself. We tried several different options and quickly realized that these "flaky donuts" were nothing more than decorated croissants. We tried: The Campfire (basically chocolate syrup over a croissant with a couple marshmallows) The Carnival (basically chocolate syrup over a croissant with rainbow sprinkles) French Toast (croissant with what tasted like maple glaze with some type of sugar sprinkled) And a few others but you get the picture. Great location, lack-luster food options, great staff. Tried it once, won't return.

Pizza on a Donut? π€¨ I never heard such a thing until Iβve learned about Parlor Doughnuts through a post. The doughnuts were soft and almost croissant like and were warm out of the oven! π Iβve enjoyed every bite but they can be a little messy so consider not consuming in your vehicle. Definitely worth a try

Employees were nice if not negligent. Multiple times people cued (including myself) in the wrong location and I eventually had to stop an employee restocking for help to order. I paid over $6 per powdered keto donut to receive a burned, sugarless-mess. The regular donuts were soggy and any individual flavor was lost to a general saccharin-overload (each tasted more or less like sugar/icing). The building, seating and ambience was delightful. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience.

This place is so cute! Itβs the best place for breakfast or a quick pick up in the morning. I got the two blueberry-flavored donuts, maple pecan, and hawaiian bbq. This place has both savory and sweet donuts and each flavor I got tasted amazing! The texture was both airy and a crisp, while not being too sweet or dense. It was a little busy as I did have to wait in line but it gave me time to pick out what I wanted. I also got a mango passion with coconut milk and that was refreshing as well. Parlor has bathrooms, inside and outside seating, and even merch to buy. It is absolutely adorable and I had a great time! I recommend coming a little early before donuts are sold out! It has walkable distance parking although you have to pay for it. But it is also within walkable distance to local shops! You can walk and enjoy your drink/food as you explore.

This coffee shop is elegant, cozy, and beautifully styled with a boutique touch. They serve freshly brewed coffee and filled donuts that look almost too pretty to eat. Each bite is pure indulgence. The flavors includes lemon, maple, strawberry, blueberry, French toast, amores and more. The place is spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with chic details that make it both relaxing and Instagram worthy. They sell dog doughnuts for $2.50 each one. I need to mention that my cappuccino coffee was warm not hot and the foam takes much room of your coffee cup so you donβt get much of a coffee if ordering a cappuccino.
